Sydney based personal injury lawyers Stacks Goudkamp will be switching off for ‘Places We Love’ during Earth Hour 2016 at 8:30pm on Saturday 19 March 2016.  We are proud to support this worldwide climate change initiative which started off in Sydney, and ask that you join in too!

We are lucky to live in a country with such vast natural beauty as Australia.  From the blues of our oceans and rivers, to our lust green rain forests and hinterlands, we are never more than a few steps away from seeing mother nature at her best.  However Australians’ love for the great outdoors is becoming threatened by rising temperatures and extreme weather events. Unseasonal bush fires, floods and droughts are becoming more common, and carbon pollution continues to rise.

This why Earth Hour is so important.  Earth Hour is a climate change initiative that shows how making a small change like turning out the lights can have valuable benefits to the environment.  It is now a worldwide phenomenon: landmarks in Sydney such as the Opera House, as well as all around the world will go dark for 60 minutes to highlight the need for climate change.

That’s why we’ll be switching off on 19 March.  We love our Australian environment, and are proud to protect the Places We Love!
