On 3 May 2017, four of our staff members participated in the annual Stacks Goudkamp Charity Golf Day, which forms part of the ‘Charity Challenge’.

This year the event was held at a new venue, with St Michael’s Golf Club in Little Bay playing host to the tournament.

The competition is a 4-ball Ambrose event, where the participants compete for a place at the Charity Challenge Final held later in the year.

Stacks Goudkamp has proudly supported the event for many years, with all funds raised for the benefit of Wheelchair Sports NSW. In attendance were representatives of Wheelchair Sports NSW including one of its key ambassadors, Louise Sauvage OAM.

Wheelchair Sports NSW is a small charity which encourages participation in sports for people with disabilities, especially children. Every Wheelchair Sports NSW event features an interview with one of the children beneficiaries of the charity, who get to tell their stories to a captive audience about how participation in wheelchair sports increases their quality of life.

Tom Goudkamp OAM, our managing director, presented the prizes to the winners and announced that Stacks Goudkamp would continue to support the event next year.

Whilst our staff members were further away from the winner’s circle than our shots generally landed from the hole, a great day was had by all in attendance and a substantial amount raised in support of a worthwhile cause, and one which is close to our hearts given that many of our clients are confined to wheelchairs after an accident.

I could write a book as to how the last 4 years would have been different if not for Tom and his team.
The support, assistance, advice from the first conversation till even after the settlement was second to none from the team at Stacks Goudkamp.
Four years on and after many downs, my children and I have our lives back.
We are unable to THANK YOU enough, but know that you have changed our lives for the better in so many ways since the accident.
