Stacks Goudkamp is proud to announce that Tom Goudkamp, our Managing Director, has been re-appointed as Chair of the New South Wales Law Society’s Specialist Accreditation Personal Injury Advisory Committee.
This appointment marks Tom’s 27th year as the Chair. Indeed Tom has been the Chair since 1992 when the Specialist Accreditation programme was created.
Why become an accredited specialist you ask? The market is competitive and confusing. A lawyer with an Accredited Specialist recognition is the ‘cream of the crop’, the ‘best of the best’ and easily the best choice for a person seeking legal advice.
Stacks Goudkamp is fortunate to have a number of Specialist Accredited lawyers.
Stacks Goudkamp would like to congratulate Con Ktenas for his re-appointment to the Personal Injury Advisory Committee.
Elizabeth Espinosa, President of the Law Society of NSW said “Advisory Committee members are the engine room of the Specialist Accreditation Scheme and much of its success is the result of their commitment and contribution”.
Accreditation is offered to NSW lawyers every two years. On average, 50 lawyers apply for accreditation in personal injury law in each round, with around 35% of candidates failing to meet the requisite stringent standards.
Tom, Con and the other members of the committee work hard to ensure that the Specialist Accreditation scheme maintains the high standards required for accreditation.
