Light Rail Update – A few weeks ago Belinda Cassidy wrote about light rail vehicles and posed the question about what would happen if someone was injured in an accident involving a light rail vehicle. As the light rail project nears completion and more and more test trips are taken with these vehicles, Transport Minister Andrew Constance and NSW Police Assistant Commissioner Michael Corboy are pleading with pedestrians and motorists to ‘ditch the distraction, follow the road rules and pay attention’.
Tom Goudkamp OAM, Managing Director of Stacks Goudkamp welcomes the advent of this popular form of public transport and says ‘while Stacks Goudkamp are happy to act for anyone injured in a motor vehicle accident, whatever the type of vehicle, we would prefer people stay safe and out of harm’s way. I urge all our staff, clients and readers to keep a proper lookout while on and around the roads’.
